How this website handles your information, in plain language.
1. Who operates this site

2. What we collect
Only what you send us, plus basic usage data.
- What you type into a form: your name, email address and — if you choose to add them — your company, website, budget range and message.
- What your browser sends automatically: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the site you arrived from.
- What the marketing assessment records: the answers you select, and only if you ask for the written audit, the contact details you provide with them.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you, or automatically as you browse.
We collect information when you submit the contact form, request a written marketing audit, book a consultation through our scheduling provider, or email or call us. Everything else is collected automatically by the web server and any analytics in use.
4. Why we use it
To answer you and to run the site.
- To reply to your enquiry and carry out work you ask us to do.
- To send the written audit when you request one.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To understand which pages are useful, in aggregate.
5. Cookies and analytics
Functional cookies, and aggregate analytics.
This site sets the cookies WordPress needs to operate. If analytics are enabled, they are used to count visits and understand which pages are read — not to build advertising profiles of individuals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
6. Service providers
A small number, each with a specific job.
Our website host, our email provider, and the scheduling provider behind the booking calendar receive the information needed to do those jobs. They act on our instructions. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
7. How long we keep it
As long as the conversation is live, then not much longer.
Enquiries and audit requests are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours sooner.
8. Security
Reasonable safeguards, honestly described.
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
9. Your choices
See it, correct it, or have it deleted.
Email info@auvymarketing.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will confirm within one business day and act within thirty days. If you are unhappy with the response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Marketing messages
You will not be added to a list.
Submitting the contact form or requesting an audit does not subscribe you to anything. If we ever add a newsletter, it will be opt-in and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.
11. Processing outside Canada
Some providers operate elsewhere.
Our hosting and email providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that happens, the information is still handled for the purposes described here.
12. Children
This site is not aimed at children.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
